FOSTP Cleanup of Bernal Ranch & Santa Teresa Spring, 11/3/23 by Ronald Horii
On 11/3/23, the Friends of Santa Teresa Park (FOSTP) had a First Friday Work Day at the Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch in Santa Teresa County Park. FOSTP members there were Mike Boulland, Ron Horii, Youngmee Kim, and Joan Murphy. Also there were 4 volunteers, including Land Steward Steve Cassidy. All had been to previous cleanups. Today, we split up and worked in different areas. Joan pulled weeds around the garden boxes and watered the landscaping. Youngmee and I cleaned up around Santa Teresa Spring. Steve worked on the area below the spring. Mike and the others cleaned out the drain along the retaining wall above the street. Also there were Park Interpreter Rob and maintenance worker Alex.
