King Tide at Don Edwards SFBNWR, Fremont by Ronald Horii
The last day of this winter's King Tides was on 1/31/14. I went down to Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters in Fremont and took these pictures, just a little before the peak of the tides. After this, I went to Coyote Hills Regional Park to the north. Here is my webpage I did for the Bay Trail project 12 years ago on this area: http://baytrail.abag.ca.gov/vtour/map4/access/Sfbnwr/SFBNWR.htm
Many of those pictures were taken at lower tide, so you can compare them to these pictures taken during the extreme high King Tide. — at Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. (near Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge)
