FOSTP Work Day at the Bernal Ranch, Santa Teresa Park, 9/1/23 by Ronald Horii
On 9/1/23, the Friends of Santa Teresa Park (FOSTP) had a First Friday Work Day at the Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch in Santa Teresa County Park. FOSTP members there were Mike Boulland, Ron Horii, and Joan Murphy. Also there were 3 volunteers, Robin, Emily, and Lee, along with Land Steward Steve Cassidy. We worked in 3 areas. We dug up yellowstar thistles by east barn, cut blackberries among the ceanothus bushes above the street, and cleared weeds along the ramp to the spring. Below are before-and-after pictures.
