Summer Native Flowers, Santa Teresa County Park, 8/2/23 by Ronald Horii
Santa Teresa County Park in San Jose is a great place for seeing lots of native wildflowers in the spring. In the middle of summer, there are flowers, but many of them are non-native weeds, like yellowstar thistles and mustard. There are some native flowers. Here are 3 of them. These are mostly along the Norred Trail, but can be found in other parts of the park. One is very common. One is rare. One is not uncommon, but I've never seen it on the Norred Trail before.
