FOSTP Work Day at the Bernal Ranch, 5/5/23 by Ronald Horii
On 5/5/23, the Friends of Santa Teresa Park had a First Friday Work Day at the Bernal Ranch in Santa Teresa County Park. FOSTP members there were Mike Boulland, Ron Horii, and Youngmee Kim. Also there were volunteers recruited by the County Parks' Volunteer Office. Some were from the community. Others were from Cisco and Amazon. We mainly cleaned up around the Bernal Ranch House. Mike whacked weeds around the West Barn and the farm equipment with a line trimmer, after receiving training from Maintenance Worker Jason Bombardier, who was supervising the cleanup.
