Bernal Hill Wildflowers and Work, Santa Teresa Park, 4/18/23 by Ronald Horii
On 4/18/23, at around 5pm, I hiked up Bernal Hill to check out the wildflowers. There was construction work going on by PG&E on the service roads leading to their power towers. This results in closing some of the trails. However, they stop working around 5 pm, so the trails re-open. Unfortunately, by that time of day, some flowers, particularly poppies, creamcups, and redmaids, close up. Two days later, I came back earlier in the day, but with a different camera: https://tinyurl.com/ysj423nf. Unfortunately, the Joice Trail was closed before I could get to the Bernal Hill Trail. These are views of the Bernal Hill Trail. For more pictures of Santa Teresa Park, see: http://www.stpfriends.org/#newpictures.
