Joice & Norred Trail Wildflowers, Santa Teresa Park, 4/20/23 by Ronald Horii
I went for a hike up the Joice Trail in Santa Teresa Park on 4/20/23 to look at the wildflowers. However, due to power tower service road reconstruction by PG&E, the Joice Trail was closed just before the Bernal Hill Trail junction. I then went back down and hiked the Norred Trail. There's one spot on the Norred Trail that goes by a serpentine outcropping and has lots of wildflowers. Here are pictures. This was two days after I hiked up to the Bernal Hill Trail (https://tinyurl.com/swtz89nz). I brought my Olympus OMD camera, which is better at taking closeups. I started a little after 2:00 on a sunny afternoon to try to catch the poppies and creamcups while they were open. For more pictures of Santa Teresa Park, see: http://www.stpfriends.org/#newpictures.
