Stile Ranch Trail Flowers and Views, Santa Teresa Park, 3/31/23 by Ronald Horii
The Stile Ranch Trail in Santa Teresa County Park in San Jose has some of the best wildflower displays in the Santa Clara County Parks. I went to check it out earlier this month. The flowers were out, but were not at their peak yet. Here are the pictures from then:

The trail is known for its poppies, and there were a lot more blooming, though they still are not quite at their peak. There were also more popcornflowers, bluedicks, California gilia, and buttercups blooming. Early-season wildflowers, like shooting stars and spring beauty were still in bloom. These are pictures of the flowers and the views. They were all taken with my smartphone, a Samsung A42. Here are past pictures of Santa Teresa Park: http://www.stpfriends.org/#newpictures. The Friends of Santa Teresa Park will be hosting a hike on the Stile Ranch, Mine, and Fortini Trails on May 13 at 9:00, starting at the Stile Ranch/Fortini trailhead. It will be a history and late-season wildflower hike. This is from the last time it was held: https://tinyurl.com/yynn67pk.
