Spreckles Hill Walk, 1/21/23 by Ronald Horii
On Saturday, 1/21/23, this event was held in the Spreckles Hill area of the North Coyote Valley Conservation Area:
"Water, Wildlife and Connectivity at Spreckles Hill:
Join the Open Space Authority to explore and learn all about water, wildlife and connectivity in Coyote Valley! We will climb to the top of this Spreckles Hill to take in the view of the Valley of Heart’s Delight, eat a snack, and do some reflection on the significance of this special open space. Heavy rain will cancel this walk. There is some rough terrain, so please plan to wear layers and sturdy shoes." Spreckles Hill is managed by the Open Space Authority (OSA). It is not open to the public yet, except for special events and guided tours. Today's walk was similar to this event here last year: "Winter Exploration of Spreckles Hill, 1/8/22": https://tinyurl.com/5xz8c8pj. There was a large event here last April: "Coyote Valley Earth Day Celebration, Spreckles Hill, 4/23/22": https://tinyurl.com/dbysxtat.
