Hellyer BioBlitz, 11/19/22 by Ronald Horii
On 11/19/22, there was a BioBlitz at Hellyer County Park. The aim of a BioBlitz is to observe and record as many living things as possible within a particular area and time period. The observations are recorded using the iNaturalist app or website. The event was sponsored by Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful: https://www.keepcoyotecreekbeautiful.org/, https://www.facebook.com/CoyoteCreekSJ/. It was organized by biologist Merav Vonshak, who has been holding BioBlitzes in other parts of the county.
