Trails and Trees at Bear Creek Redwoods Preserve, 11/14/22 by Ronald Horii
Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve covers 1430 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains west of Lexington Reservoir and Hwy 17. It has 6 miles of trails that climb up steep hills covered with second-growth redwood forests. I first went to see it on 6/14/19, a few days after it opened to the public. On 11/14/22, I went back to it to see a new section that had opened. I took lots of pictures and put them in 3 albums.
