Stevens Creek Trail: Varian Park to Linda Vista Park, 10/9/22 by Ronald Horii
The Stevens Creek Trail has a segment that runs through Blackberry Farm Park to McClellan Ranch Preserve in Cupertino. On 7/6/21, I explored the new addition to the trail from McClellan Ranch Preserve to Linda Vista Park: https://tinyurl.com/yw87ju8 (This has lots of links about the trail addition). On 10/3/21, I helped to lead a hike along the Nature Trail in McClellan Ranch Park: https://tinyurl.com/9nvc99ap. Recently, I read that there was a new addition to the trail from Blackberry Farm Park to Varian Park, which is north of Stevens Creek Blvd., though it's not actually on Stevens Creek. It will be difficult to build a trail further north along the creek, since it runs between the backyards of houses. This describes in detail the new trail from Varian Park:

This talks about the Stevens Creek Trail in Cupertino, including the new section:
https://www.stevenscreektrail.org/trailupdate.html#cup. Technically, it's not an official trail yet. It is only a foot trail, not a bike trail. I was on foot. I walked from Varian Park all the way to the end of the trail in Linda Vista Park. I took these pictures with my phone.
