Almaden Quicksilver History Hike, Wood Road Trail, 10/23/22 by Ronald Horii
On 10/23/22, I went for a history hike in Almaden Quicksilver, starting at the Wood Road Entrance on Hicks Road. The hike was led by Park Interpreter Victoria Heyse, with help from volunteer Tony (and me). The hike went along the Wood Road Trail to Mine Hill and the Rotary Furnace. There have been many history hikes in the park. The last one I attended was on 2/26/22: https://tinyurl.com/kw8kbsv6. I solo hiked the Wood Road Trail on 9/17/22: https://tinyurl.com/juyp4zcv.
