Los Gatos Creek Park's Camden Ponds, 4/27/22 vs. 8/11/22 by Ronald Horii
I've been going biking on the Los Gatos Creek Trail often this year and have watched the water levels change in the percolation ponds in Los Gatos Creek Park. They filled up in the winter, but with the lack of rain, they started to drop in the spring. The lowest point that I saw in the Camden Ponds on the west side of Los Gatos Creek was on 4/27/22. No water was flowing into the ponds, and they started to dry up. Starting in the summer, imported water filled them up again. On 8/11/22, I saw that they were full. Here are pictures comparing the ponds on those two dates.
