La Fuente, Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch, Santa Teresa Park, 7/30/22 by Ronald Horii
After a 2-year absence due to the pandemic shutdown, the La Fuente event returned to the Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch at Santa Teresa County Park. Here was the description: "Celebrate the families of the past, present, and future at Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch and their relationship to the Santa Teresa Spring. Evening festivities include music, stories, crafts, and games for all ages." It's been an almost-yearly celebration, starting in 2006, but with different names over the years. It started with Founder's Day Fandango in 2006: http://www.stpfriends.org/Fandango-06/Fandango-06.html. The last time it was held was on 10/19/19: https://tinyurl.com/yybqaspw. The Friends of Santa Teresa Park (FOSTP) has always been a part of the event. Here are more pictures of FOSTP at today's La Fuente: https://tinyurl.com/musk4z3p. They are organized by activity and are not necessarily in chronological order.
