Bike to Wherever: Santa Teresa, MCP, Almaden Lake 5/20/22 by Ronald Horii
Friday 5/20/22 was one of the Bike to Wherever days: https://bayareabiketowork.com/about
It used to be called Bike to Work Day before the pandemic. It was a way of getting people to try out bicycle commuting to work. During the pandemic, nobody was going to work. As the pandemic has been easing up, the event has evolved into something more general. People are encouraged to bike to work, to visit friends, to run errands, or just ride for fun. That's what I did, also to burn calories. I biked from home in South San Jose, near Santa Teresa Blvd. and Cottle Rd. My destinations were Santa Teresa Park, Martial Cottle Park, and Almaden Lake Park. Here are pictures from my ride.
