Coyote Valley Earth Day Celebration, Spreckles Hill, 4/23/22 by Ronald Horii
On 4/23/22, this event was held in the Spreckles Hill area of the North Coyote Valley Conservation Area: "Come celebrate Mother Nature and all you can do to help planet Earth! Meet Open Space Authority General Manager, Andrea Mackenzie and special guests from the local conservation community. Take a walk up to the top of Spreckles Hill for breathtaking views of Coyote Valley, followed by arts and crafts, raw honey sampling from the Happy Hollow Park & Zoo apiary, activities to learn about water, and the opportunity to meet a native plant garden enthusiast. Activities begin at 10:00 a.m." It's managed by the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority (OSA). It's not open to the public yet, but there have been special events held there, starting this year. ------------------This much smaller event was held there earlier in the week: Spreckles Hill BioBlitz, 4/19/22:
