Martial Cottle Park Flowers (Test of New Cellphone Camera) 4/3/22 by Ronald Horii
On 4/2/22, I bought a new cellphone. It's a Samsung A03s. It's a budget phone with a basic camera. It has 3 front cameras and a selfie camera. The main front camera is 13 MP, which is a little small by today's standards, but is good enough for most purposes. I wanted to check the lens sharpness, the color rendition, and the dynamic range. Here's information about the phone's cameras: https://www.samsung.com/uk/smartphones/galaxy-a/galaxy-a03s-black-32gb-sm-a037gzkneua/
I went to Martial Cottle Park to take some test pictures. I figured there would be some good photo ops, particularly in the Master Gardeners parcel. They have lots of gardens with colorful flowers blooming now. They were closed, but you can see through the fence, and some flowers have escaped outside the fence. These pictures are uploaded unedited. The verdict: The pictures look sharp from edge-to-edge. The colors look accurate. The dynamic range can capture shadow detail, while the highlights aren't blown out. The pictures look a lot better than the camera in my old phone, a Moto E4.
