Coyote Creek Drying Up After Flooding, Metcalf to Bailey, 1/24/22 by Ronald Horii
Last month, after above-normal rainfall, Coyote Creek had such high flows that the the Coyote Creek Trail was flooded and inaccessible in several places. One of those places was between Coyote Ranch and Bailey Avenue. Here are pictures from that time:

Now, after a month of dry weather, the Coyote Creek Trail is no longer flooded, and the creek is much lower. To see how much lower, I rode my bike along part of the trail, from Metcalf Park to Bailey Ave. Compare these pictures to the ones from last month.
