Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve Hike, 11/23/12 by Ronald Horii
The day after Thanksgiving, 2012, the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority held a "Hike Your Pie Off" hike at their Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve above San Jose's Alum Rock Park. Normally, the only way to reach the preserve is to take a long uphill hike from Alum Rock Park. Today was special. The hike began way up high on Sierra Road, and we actually had to hike down to the trail. Here are pictures from that hike.
