New Trail in Santa Teresa Park, Finally Fully Open, 11/26/21 by Ronald Horii
This is a follow-up to this album:
New Trail at Santa Teresa Is Open (Almost), 11/17/21

At that time, the trail was almost open, but there was still more work to be done. The construction equipment and fences had to be removed. There was still a little more trailwork to be done, and the sides of the trail and bare dirt areas needed to be hydroseeded. On 11/26/21, I came back and checked out the trail. It looked like it was completely open. There was no construction equipment or fences lying around, the entrances were all open, and the bare dirt areas were hydroseeded. Here are views of the trail, coming from San Ignacio Avenue and going to Santa Teresa Spring. It's in the opposite direction from the previous album, so the views are different.
There will be an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 11 at 11 am, not because more needs to be done, but because park staff are busy until then. The Friends of Santa Teresa Park will be participating. The trail still won't have a name. The naming committee won't be able to meet until next year. During construction, it was called the Curie Drive Trail. There will probably be trail signs in the future, once it's been named.
