Almaden Quicksilver Hike, Part 2, 11/14/21 by Ronald Horii
This is part 2 of the hike that began on the New Almaden Trail as scouting trip for the upcoming BioBlitz. See:

I hiked up the Buena Vista Trail to the Randol Trail, Santa Isabel Trail, back to the Randol Trail, Capehorn Pass Trail, Hacienda, and back to the staging area via the New Almaden Trail. I hiked almost the same route on 1/27/12 and took these pictures: http://www.newalmaden.org/AQSPark/BuenaVista_012712/Hike.html
The difference is that I went to the Buena Vista Shaft then and took pictures of its huge pump foundations. This time, I went to the Santa Isabel Shaft site, since I haven't seen it in a long time.
