San Francisco Presidio and the Golden Gate Bridge, 9/15/12 by Ronald Horii
I was coming home from the North Bay and crossed the Golden Gate on Sunday. Normally, I would breeze through San Francisco on my way home, but this time I thought I'd make a quick stop and check out the gun emplacement next to the bridge. My quick stop turned into several hours of exploration of the forts, the new Bay Trail, the views, the Golden Gate Bridge plaza, and parts of the Presidio. I only had time to explore a small fraction of what there is to see in the area. I'll have to come back for more. Below are some pictures.
