Alviso Marina County Park Sights and Signs, 8/29/21 by Ronald Horii
The purpose of this album is to document the trail around the Alviso Marina, the part owned by Santa Clara County. It's to help the County Parks Dept., which needs a survey of this part of the trail, its signs, and gates. This is a section of the trail that is designated as part of the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail. The huge protected area around the Alviso Marina is part of the 30,000-acre Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The County Park provides the access point, staging area, and visitor facilities to the Alviso portion of the refuge:
