Laurel Canyon Upper Waterfall, 2/16/09 by Friends Of Santa Teresa Park
Santa Teresa Park has 2 waterfalls. After heavy rains, the stock pond on the Hidden Springs Trail overflows into the creek below it. It flows under the Hidden Springs Trail below the Ridge Trail and flows down Laurel Canyon. There's a large upper waterfall that can only be seen immediately after heavy rains. The lower falls can be seen for a much longer period at the end of the Laurel Canyon Nature Trail off the Ohlone Trail. Here are pictures of the upper falls after a rainstorm. It can be seen from the Hidden Springs Trail near the first big blue oak on the trail, below the Muriel Wright Center.
