Spring Cleaning, Santa Teresa Spring, 7/2/21 by Ronald Horii
On 6/4/21, the Friends of Santa Teresa Park started a cleanup effort of Santa Teresa Spring in Santa Teresa County Park. Here are pictures from that work day: https://tinyurl.com/m7jhc7t8
We removed most of the dirt and vines covering the spring and shrine, as well as clearing poison oak and invasive broom from around the viewing platform and cistern. On 7/2/21, we came back to remove more dirt, loose leaves, and vines from around the spring, shrine, and cistern. Mike and Dorene Boulland, Youngmee Kim, and I did the work. Here are pictures from that day. We are hoping to have work days in the park the first Friday (maybe Saturday) of each month.
