Rancho Canada del Oro Wildflower Hike, Part 1, 4/16/21 by Ronald Horii
On 4/16/21, I went on a hike at Rancho Canada del Open Open Space Preserve, looking for wildflowers. I hiked the Mayfair Ranch Trail to the Longwall Canyon Trail. Here are pictures from the first part of the hike, from the staging area to the high point of the Mayfair Ranch Trail. Note: I identified the plants with their common names and their scientific names, if I can figure them out. Sometimes I could only identify the genus of the plant, since telling species apart can take more detailed examination.
