Rosendin Park, November 25, 2011 by Ronald Horii
This part of Anderson Lake County Park was named in honor of Moses L. Rosendin, founder of Rosendin Electric Co. The 116-acre parcel was donated by Louis and Raymond Rosendin in 1993 in honor of their father. It is accessible from the boat dock parking lot and from Holiday Drive, which is in the private community of Holiday Lake Estates.

I've been to Anderson Lake County Park many times because it's at the end of the Coyote Creek Trail. I've been up to the dam many times because of the view. However, I didn't know there was a kind of secret park above the lake. It's Rosendin Park, named after the founder of Rosendin Electric. I found it because of the geocaches there. Here are some pictures.

Other people find small treasures; you find parks.
