Uvas Canyon Waterfalls, 2/7/19 by Ronald Horii
On Thursday, February 7, 2019, after several weeks of rain, I went to Uvas Canyon County Park to see the waterfalls. The park was almost empty. On weekends and holidays, it is so busy that reservations are required to enter the park. I hiked up the Waterfall Loop Trail to the start of the Contour Trail to where it crosses Swanson Creek. The trail to Lower Falls was closed, so I couldn't see it. I took these pictures with my Olympus OMD E-M10 mirrorless camera on a tripod, mostly with a 1-second exposure.
Here are previous pictures I've taken at Uvas Canyon:

This is the trail access to Lower Falls below the picnic area near the park entrance. It was closed, so I couldn't go to see the falls.

This is what the lower parking lot looked like when I got there at 1 pm. There was no problem parking. That's not true on the weekends.
