On 1/26/19, there was this event at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve:
"Juan Bautista de Anza Expedition Hike
Saturday, January 26⋅10:00am – 1:00pm
Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve - 550 Palm Avenue - Morgan Hill, CA 95037
Description:For details, link here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/juan-bautista-de-anza-expedition-hike-tickets-53832448302
Join the Open Space Authority and the National Park Service for a history walk along the Arrowhead Trail in Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve, a certified interpretive site for the Juan Bautista de Anza Expedition. As you hike this 4-mile trail, you will learn all about the Anza Expedition and the experience of the families on the journey."
Because of the federal shutdown, National Park Service rangers were not able to make it. However, OSA docent Les Krammer was able to lead the hike. He's done this before. He has the pictures of the Anza Expedition. Fellow OSA docents Colleen and I were helping out.
