Rainbows and Rescuers, Santa Teresa Park, 11/29/18 by Ronald Horii
It was a dark and stormy day today, so I stayed indoors. In the afternoon, I saw sunlight through the window, so I peeked outdoors. I saw blue sky and a rainbow from my front yard. My street is not a good place to take rainbow pictures, so I rushed off to Santa Teresa Park. As I was driving up Bernal Road, I saw an intense rainbow appearing over the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there was no legal place to stop along the road, so I continued to the Pueblo Area. I parked by the Hidden Springs Trailhead. The rainbow wasn't as intense, but it made a complete arc for awhile. I wasn't alone while I was there. Search and rescue crews were training. Here are some pictures.
