Raptor Migration Program, Santa Teresa Park, 11/3/18 by Ronald Horii
On 11/3/18, this event was held at the Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch in Santa Teresa County Park:
"Learn about raptor migration while observing this annual event in the field during peak migration season. Activities include raptor specimen examination and comparison activities between animal migration and human immigration. Recommended age 9+ years. Meet by the chicken coop. Bring binoculars if you have them."
It was organized by County Parks Interpreter Kelsi Ju. She was assisted by Eric Lynch and Yiwei Wang from the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory (SFBBO). https://www.sfbbo.org/

This public program is derived from a school program for 5th graders, called Raptor Route: https://www.sccgov.org/sites/parks/Education/Pages/education-programs.aspx
