Quicksilver Outdoor Museum and Views, 11/13/18 by Ronald Horii
The New Almaden Quicksilver County Park Association held their annual Pioneer Day on 10/17/18 at the Hacienda Outdoor Mining Museum, celebrating the rehabilitation of the interpretive signs: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2025933310763514&type=1&l=4cbafee0d3
I went back there to take a look at the Outdoor Museum to see how things look. I then went for a hike up the Mine Hill and English Camp Trails to take in the views on a moderately smoky day.. The smoke wasn't too bad. I couldn't smell it. Nobody was wearing masks. Still, it was visible. Here are pictures.
