Three Creeks Trail, 8/27/18 by Ronald Horii
On 8/26/18, there was a dedication ceremony for the Three Creeks Trail in Willow Glen. Unfortunately, I had a cold and couldn't make it. The next day, I felt better, so I thought I'd check it out. I've been on the trail many times, and it's been open for years, but it's been going through a major facelift and upgrade recently. For comparison, this is what it looked like in 2013: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.707382985951893&type=1&l=8cb769516a
Wow, what a difference! They paved the trail, cleaned it up, and added some unique landscaping and interpretive/artistic features. They raised the bar for trail amenities. There was a workshop in 2013 to plan these trail features: http://willowglencharm.com/news/parks-recreation/three-creeks-trail-workshop-reveals-new-trail-features-and-a-focus-on-history/

Instead of starting from one end of the trail and walking to the other end, I started in the middle at Bird Avenue and Willow Street. There are two shopping centers there, so there are places to park, eat, and shop. I walked from Bird to the Guadalupe River first, then came back and walked from Willow to Los Gatos Creek and back. Here are pictures from that walk.

I walked the trail a few times before the upgrade. It looks much nicer now. I must get over there again soon.
