San Jose's Heritage Rose Garden, 7/15/18 by Ronald Horii
I was downtown today, so I thought I'd stop by and check out the Heritage Rose Garden in the Guadalupe Gardens. I was curious to see what was blooming in the middle of summer. Here's more about the garden: http://www.heritageroses.us/ With over 3600 roses and 2600 varieties, it has the largest public collection of rose varieties in the Western Hemisphere. Here's a brochure for the Rose Garden: http://www.grpg.org/Files/HRGBrochure.pdf
It's part of the downtown Guadalupe River Park, supported by the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy: http://www.grpg.org/
For more of my pictures of the Guadalupe River Park and Gardens and other San Jose parks and trails, see: http://www.rhorii.com/#sjparks
