After the Santa Teresa Park Fire: Joice, Bernal Hill, Mine Trails by Ronald Horii
There was a 100-acre fire in Santa Teresa County Park on 7/10/18. The next day, the trails were closed while fire crews did mop-up operations in the park. On 7/12/18, 2 days after the fire, the trails were open again, so I hiked around the perimeter of the fire. I started at the Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch, hiked up the Joice Trail, to the Bernal Hill Trail, then came down the Mine Trail. These are pictures from that part of the hike. In the second part of the hike, covered in a separate album, I hiked the Norred Trail back to the Bernal Ranch. Here are pictures from the second part of the hike: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1883136701709843.1073742422.100000405933924&type=1&l=6f4823cce8
