Rancho San Vicente Wildlife, 5/14/18 by Ronald Horii
I went for a short hike in Rancho San Vicente (part of Calero County Park) on 5/14/18. I was mostly taking pictures of the landscape and wildflowers, which I have in this album: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1805529389470575.1073742388.100000405933924&type=1&l=cb1cbdc456
I was carrying my Panasonic ZS50 30X travelzoom camera. It has a powerful 15X telephoto mode, which is good for wildlife. It also has an electronic viewfinder and image stabilization, which helps with tracking moving animals. I saw lots of squirrels at the start of the hike and some interesting birds at the end of the hike. I'm not a bird expert, so I don't know the smaller species.
