Coyote Meadows BioBlitz, 4/29/18 by Ronald Horii
On 4/29/18, about 100 people gathered at Selma Olinder Dog Park in downtown San Jose on Coyote Creek. They were there for a BioBlitz. It's a citizen scientist group effort to observe and record plants, insects, and animals in Coyote Meadows, and undeveloped proposed park. They used the iNaturalist app to record and upload their findings. The BioBlitz was organized by the Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful group, led by Deb Kramer, with ecologist Merav Vonshak.
