Rancho San Vicente North Ridge and Almaden Trails, 4/2/18 by Ronald Horii
On 4/2/18, I went for a hike in the newly-opened Rancho San Vicente addition to Calero County Park. I've been to Rancho San Vicente many times prior to its opening, but mostly on existing ranch roads. There are 2 new trail, cut this year, called the North Ridge Trail and the Almaden Trail. The Northridge Trail runs around a low hill at the north end of the park. The Almaden Trail branches off of it and leads to a neighborhood entrance on Almaden Road.
