Rancho San Vicente Hike, 3/25/18 by Ronald Horii
On 3/24/18, the 966-acre Rancho San Vicente addition to Calero County Park opened to the public. I went there that morning, but was chased out by the rain after a short hike. The next day, which was mostly sunny, I came back and did a longer hike. Here are pictures.

I have a long history with Rancho San Vicente. I got to hike it right after the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) bought it in 2009. The County bought it later that year. I spoke up in front of the Board of Supervisors advocating the purchase of the property. I helped lead the first County Parks hike in 2010 and have been there many times since.
