Rancho San Vicente Almaden Road Entrance, 3/25/18 by Ronald Horii
Rancho San Vicente, which is an 966-acre addition to Calero County Park, opened on Saturday 3/24/18. It's main entrance is on McKean Road, but it has a small neighborhood entrance on Almaden Road in New Almaden. There's not enough parking for this to be a main entrance. It provides an alternate entrance to the park and could be used in the future to reach Almaden Quicksilver. There's no trailhead for Almaden Quicksilver near this entrance, but that could change someday.
