Stile Ranch-Mine-Fortini Trails, Santa Teresa Park 3/19/18 by Ronald Horii
In preparation for a public hike in Santa Teresa County Park on Sunday 3/25, I scouted out the hike route on Monday 3/19. We've been having a rainy March, mostly light rain and sprinkles. I was worried that the trail might be muddy, so I wanted to see the trail conditions. Also, there are trail work days coming up, so I was looking to see what areas need work. These are great wildflower trails, so I wanted to see how the wildflowers were doing. The wildflowers are not at their peak yet, so they should be even better next week and the coming weeks. Here are pictures from the hike.

View spectacular wildflower displays, take in the gorgeous views, and hear talks about the rich history of the area. There will be nature and history exhibits and activities at the trailhead. Please bring snack, sunscreen, water and wear comfortable shoes. Meet at the Stile Ranch Trailhead on San Vicente Avenue, at the end of Fortini Road, off McKean Road.
