Coyote Valley Rainy Day Hike, 3/16/18 by Ronald Horii
On Friday, 3/16/18, after a rainy week, I went out to Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve as the clouds were starting to break up. I was hoping to see some interesting cloud formations and maybe even a rainbow. I was also curious to see how the wildflowers were doing. Coyote Valley OSP isn't a wildflower powerhouse like Coyote Ridge OSP, but it has some nice displays, mostly individuals, rather than carpets. I hiked the Arrowhead Loop Trail counter-clockwise.
