Vasona Fantasy of Lights Walk-Thru, Part 1 12/2/17 by Ronald Horii
The Fantasy of Lights holiday light display has been held at Vasona County Park since 1998. It's been a drive-thru, but for the past few years, there have been walk-thru events. 12/2/17 was the first of the 2 walk-thru's. They give people a chance to see the lights on foot, which gives allows them a little closer than from their cars. They can spend as much time as they want looking at them, and can back-track. There are also special features, like the food trucks, Santa Claus, and a photo booth, which are not available during the drive-thru. This requires a huge amount of volunteer and staff manpower to make it happen, so it can't be done all the time. This is part 1 of pictures of the event. It shows what it looked like before it got dark. These pictures highlight the volunteers, staff, and the food trucks.
