"Hike Your Pie Off" at Coyote Valley OSP, 11/25/17 by Ronald Horii
This event was on Saturday 11/25/17 at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve: "Feeling a bit guilty for indulging in your favorite holiday dishes? No worries! Join our docents for a fun family-friendly Hike Your Pie Off! and burn those extra calories! This 4-mile trail will take you up to fantastic views and wind through the oak woodlands. You’ll see amazing birds of prey and perhaps deer and even a coyote in the distance!" It was led by docents Doug and Craige (and me). We had our first good rain a few days ago, and it was enough to start turning the preserve green.
