Coyote Peak-Rocky Ridge Hike, Santa Teresa Park, 11/17/17 by Ronald Horii
On a clear day, after the first heavy rains of the season, I went for a hike in Santa Teresa Park. Starting at the Pueblo Day Use Area, I went up the Hidden Springs Trail to the Coyote Peak Trail to Coyote Peak. Coyote Peak is one of the best viewpoints in the County. You can see most of the Bay Area to north. To the south, you can see Coyote Valley, Morgan Hill, and Gilroy. The difference between the highly-developed urban areas to the north and the rustic ranchlands to the south is remarkable. I returned on the Rocky Ridge and Mine Trails. I used my Panasonic ZS50 30X travelzoom camera to take these pictures.
