New Almaden Ghost Tour, 10/29/17 by Ronald Horii
On 10/29/17, Mike Boulland and Joan Murphy led a haunted tour of New Almaden, with help from Teri Rogoway and me. It was called "Tall Tales, Whoppers, and Famous Haunts" tour for the Meetup group "Bay Area Hiking And Anything Fun." Here's their description of the event:
"Ready to be spooked with ghost stories and a cemetery tour?

Tour the old historic mining 1824 New Almaden village with author, docent and park historian Mike Boulland and Joan Murphy. We were lucky to have toured with Mike and Joan two years ago. Now we are doing it again!

Enjoy an entertaining evening while visiting the Hacienda Cemetery and the old mining town sites. Listen to the historic evidence about the early pioneer mining family's stories and decide which facts are true or whoppers!"
