In May of 2016, a new section of Eden Landing in Hayward was opened to the public, with new trails, signs, viewing platforms, and a boat launch ramp. These are the pictures I took of it back then:

On 9/24/17, I rode my bike around that section again, starting from the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center. This time, I was there up until sunset and at a time of year when the entire trail was open. I also had my 30X travelzoom camera with me, so I could get some highly zoomed in shots. At maximum optical zoom, it's equivalent to a 720 mm lens. Here are the pictures I got this time.
