Coastal Cleanup Day, Coyote Creek at Tully 9/16/17 by Ronald Horii
Coastal Cleanup Day was on 9/16/17. There were cleanup events all over the state. There were many sites in Santa Clara County: http://www.valleywater.org/CreekConnections/
One of these was along Coyote Creek starting at the Tully Ballfields on the east side of the creek. It was organized by Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful: http://keepcoyotecreekbeautiful.org/
134 volunteers came. They spread out along Coyote Creek, starting at the Coyote Creek Trail and going down to the creek. There are lots of homeless camps along the creek, mostly on the west side, but there was more than enough trash to cleanup on the east side.
