The Palo Alto Buddhist Temple held their annual Obon Festival on 8/6/17. It was a big celebration, with carnival games, lots of food, flower arrangement and rock art displays, and the traditional Obon dancing. Many people were dressed in Japanese kimonos or happi coats, while others were invited to just jump in with whatever they were wearing. It went on past sunset, under the light of a full moon.
